Partial hip replacement, also known as hip hemiarthroplasty, is a surgical procedure in which only the damaged or diseased part of the hip joint is replaced with an artificial implant, while the remaining healthy parts are preserved. This procedure is commonly performed in cases of hip fractures or arthritis affecting only one part of the joint.
