William Rosenblatt, MD
Biography
William Rosenblatt, MD, is an anesthesiologist with a particular focus on difficult airway management, especially in the context of head and neck surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rosenblatt is known for developing tools that enhance the safety and effectiveness of airway management during surgery. His efforts have been recognized with the Rolex Award for Enterprise, an international recognition given by the Rolex Corporation to individuals who have undertaken innovative projects that advance human knowledge and well-being. He is also the founder of REMEDY (Recovered Medical Equipment for the Developing World), a program that distributes unused medical supplies globally.
A professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Rosenblatt completed his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Stanford University Hospital and a residency in anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine.
