Sarah Andiman, MD
Biography
Dr. Sarah Andiman is a urogynecologist who diagnoses and treats women with pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse (uncomfortable or painful vaginal bulge), fecal incontinence, bladder pain, and genital tract fistulas.
Dr. Andiman is skilled in minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches. She is aware that urogynecologic issues are often very personal and upsetting, and can be uncomfortable to discuss. She believes that her role is to provide patients with thorough information and expert and compassionate care so that they are supported and empowered to make the choices that are best for them.
She is an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and the American Urogynecologic Society. Her ongoing research interests include female pelvic anatomy, patient education and solutions to improve surgical quality and outcomes.
