Roland Assi, MD, MMS, FACS

Roland Assi, MD, MMS (Master of Medical Science), is a cardiac surgeon who performs a range of heart surgeries. He specializes in the treatment of thoracic aortic disease such as aortic aneurysms and dissections, advanced endovascular aortic surgery, coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic valve surgery, mitral valve surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support devices.

Dr. Assi became a cardiac surgeon because he wanted the opportunity to help people live longer and healthier lives. “It makes me very happy when my patients tell me how they got back to their lives after heart surgery, and that they are able to celebrate family milestones and anniversaries for many years to come,” he says.
