Ranjit Deshpande, MD, MBA, FCCM

Ranjit Deshpande, MD, is an anesthesiologist specializing in transplant anesthesiology and critical care. As director of transplant anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Deshpande ensures patients receive comprehensive care before, during, and after transplant surgery.

Dr. Deshpande is an associate professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine and serves as vice chair of finance and strategy for the Department of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Deshpande earned his medical degree from BJ Medical College in Pune, India, completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
