Biography
Ninani Kombo, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in treating uveitis, a form of eye inflammation, in adults and children.
Dr. Kombo also provides comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery, eye exams, and treatment for ocular cicatricial pemphigoid (an autoimmune disease that can cause scarring).
The best part of her job, Dr. Kombo says, is working with patients to keep their eyes healthy and maintain their quality of life. I am committed to providing excellent and compassionate care whether you need an exam to update your glasses, monitor the health of your eyes or diagnose and treat serious inflammatory and infectious conditions of the eyes.
“I enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of my patients. They inspire me to work harder and continue to read about the latest treatments available to improve or save their vision,” she says. “Our treatments are state-of-the art and constantly evolving. There is no doubt this field will change during my lifetime.”
Dr. Kombo says she considers herself, the patient, and their family members part of a team that works together to support the patient’s visual recovery. “I will always do my best to support them,” she says.
