Biography

Mary T. Laird, MD, is a dermatologist who diagnoses and treats a variety of skin conditions. She has a particular interest in women’s health and dermatology, especially dermatology as it relates to pregnancy and lactation.

Dr. Laird emphasizes the importance of patient interaction and education in her practice. "The skin can really be a window into a person's overall health and has a huge impact on how people interact with the world,” she says. “My favorite part of my job is speaking with patients, understanding their goals, and finding the right treatment for them.”

As assistant professor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Laird also enjoys working with and teaching residents and medical students.

Dr. Laird received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and her dermatology residency at Yale University.
