Biography
Martha K. Swartz, PhD, RN, is a professor of nursing and associate dean for clinical and community affairs at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Swartz is committed to advancing the health and well-being of children and has a special interest in pediatric primary care and health-related quality of life in children with asthma and other chronic illnesses. She also co-directs the NetHaven Practice Based Research Network, which aims to enhance healthcare practices through collaborative research efforts.
Dr. Swartz holds a doctorate from the University of Connecticut. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and currently serves as the editor-in-chief for the Journal of Pediatric Health Care.
