Biography

Linda D. Ruiz, PhD, is a neuropsychologist who helps people understand and cope with changes in memory, attention, and other cognitive abilities.

A bilingual neuropsychologist, Dr. Ruiz conducts neuropsychological evaluations for patients with a range of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions. Dr. Ruiz takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating and supporting patients in order to enhance their cognitive health, safety, and well-being.

As an assistant professor of clinical neurology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Ruiz conducts studies on how environmental and social factors may lead to differences in health outcomes. Her work focuses on the long-term impact these factors can have on cognitive functioning.

Dr. Ruiz received her doctoral degree from DePaul University and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System.
