Biography

Austin Oberlin, MD, is an obstetrician who provides comprehensive care for women before, during, and after pregnancy. He addresses a range of needs related to childbirth and women’s reproductive health, including managing high-risk pregnancies and conditions that may affect a safe delivery.

Dr. Oberlin has a long-standing commitment to global health. He has spent time in Ghana, Botswana, and South Africa conducting research and providing clinical training. He received a Queenan Global Health Fellowship from the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine to provide clinical training in Zambia.

As an affiliated faculty member at the Yale Institute for Global Health, Dr. Oberlin collaborates on projects aimed at improving health care systems globally. He completed his medical training at Virginia Commonwealth University and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University. He is currently pursuing a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
