Aba Black, MD, MHS, specializes in internal medicine. She is the associate program director for Diversity & Inclusion at the Yale primary care internal medicine residency program and the vice chief of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Black’s research examines support provided by medical training programs for diversity and the experiences of minority doctors during their training.

Dr. Black's work has been recognized through awards such as the Leonard Tow Humanism Award, the Yale Primary Care Faculty Teaching Award, the Connecticut American College of Physicians Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award, and induction into the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society.
