Access to early treatment for MS
Because multiple sclerosis (MS) progresses rapidly, it’s important for patients newly diagnosed with the disease to see a neurologist and begin treatment quickly. MS Access is a program launched by the Yale Multiple Sclerosis Center to provide treatment for multiple sclerosis patients as soon as possible—often within 48 hours. This access to early treatment from our team of expert, fellowship-trained neurologists can be critical in helping to prevent the scarring of brain tissue and permanent brain damage that can occur in patients with MS. In addition, this program gives patients access to promising new therapies or medications that may not be available to the general public.
The Yale Multiple Sclerosis Center is a state-of-the-art facility. Our advanced MRI scanners, clinical laboratories and infusion centers give our patients a one-stop shop for all their MS-related medical care. In addition, our MS specialists take the time to listen to your concerns and determine the best treatment option for you.
