Hand and Microsurgery Program
Our goal is to restore hand and upper extremities to the highest level of function possible. We offer comprehensive, advanced surgical care for adult patients with injury, trauma, or degenerative disease that affects the function of the hand, wrist, and the nervous system of the arm.
We offer specialized expertise in the replantation of amputated digits or extremities, and perform reconstructive ablative surgery on the head, neck, and extremities. Our surgeons also treat wounds in sensitive areas of the thorax, abdomen, and perineum.
Our Approach
We provide comprehensive, innovative care for our pediatric patients with congenital abnormalities that involve the hand, in order to encourage normal development and function.
In caring for our patients, we harness the latest in medical care and technologies and minimally invasive procedures, including:
- Endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery
- Microsurgical procedures in the replantation of amputated digits or extremities
- Microvascular reconstruction
- Peripheral nerve surgery
- Free flap surgical techniques
Our surgical expertise ensures that, whenever possible, our patients experience shorter hospital stays and less postoperative discomfort. Our physicians and nursing staff are committed to providing safe and compassionate care.
