Eligibility Criteria
- PICU admission
- Age < 18 years
- Septic Shock, defined by the following:
- Has at least one SIRS criteria, AND
- Need for vasoactive infusion for shock (excluding dopamine < 5 mcg/kg/min), AND
- Administration of systemic antimicrobial therapy for proven or suspected infection
