Sickle Cell Study

Are you or a loved one living with sickle cell disease? Sickle cell disease (SCD) is the

most common genetic blood disorder worldwide and a rapidly growing global health

problem that remains poorly understood. You can play an important role in research by

volunteering for a free and confidential study Yale is conducting to better understand

the immune system of those with sickle cell disease. Your participation could lead to

important breakthroughs in treatment and care. Study procedures include medical record review

and blood draws.
