Are you or a loved one living with sickle cell disease? Sickle cell disease (SCD) is the
most common genetic blood disorder worldwide and a rapidly growing global health
problem that remains poorly understood. You can play an important role in research by
volunteering for a free and confidential study Yale is conducting to better understand
the immune system of those with sickle cell disease. Your participation could lead to
important breakthroughs in treatment and care. Study procedures include medical record review
and blood draws.
Compensation will be provided.
