Visceral Artery Aneurysm

Definition

Visceral artery aneurysm is a rare condition characterized by the abnormal dilation or bulging of the visceral arteries, which supply blood to the internal organs. This can result from various causes, including atherosclerosis, trauma, infection, or congenital defects. If left untreated, visceral artery aneurysms can rupture and lead to life-threatening internal bleeding.
