Urodynamic Testing
Definition
Urodynamic testing refers to diagnostic procedures used to evaluate the function and efficiency of the lower urinary tract, specifically the bladder and urethra. These tests measure factors such as bladder pressure, urine flow rate, and residual urine volume (the amount of urine left in your bladder after emptying) to help determine the cause of urinary incontinence, difficulty in urination, and other lower urinary tract symptoms.
