Urachal cancer is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that originates in the urachus, a tube-like structure that connects the bladder to the umbilicus (belly button) during fetal development. This structure usually closes off and becomes a fibrous cord after birth, but in some cases, it may persist and develop into urachal cancer.
