Substance/medication-induced sleep disorder is a condition characterized by disturbances in sleep patterns or quality, resulting from the use or abuse of medications, illicit drugs, or alcohol. This disorder can manifest as insomnia, hypersomnia, sleep-related breathing disorders, or parasomnias, and may lead to significant distress or impairment in daily functioning.
