Sinus Pressure

Definition

Sinus pressure is a discomfort or pain caused by the inflammation or congestion of the membranes that line the nasal passage. It can result from sinus infection, allergies, or environmental pollutants. The pressure is typically felt in the forehead, cheeks, and behind the eyes, and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as nasal congestion, headache, and facial tenderness.
