SCN1A-related seizure disorders are a group of neurological conditions characterized by seizures resulting from mutations in the SCN1A gene, which encodes a voltage-gated sodium channel in the brain. These disorders include Dravet syndrome, genetic epilepsy with febrile seizures plus (GEFS+), and other related epilepsy syndromes.
