Sclerosing Epithelioid Fibrosarcoma
Definition
Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma is a rare and aggressive subtype of fibrosarcoma, a malignant soft tissue tumor. It is characterized by the presence of epithelioid cells and a sclerotic stroma, typically affecting deep soft tissues and often involving the limbs, trunk, or head and neck regions. Due to its aggressive nature, it has a high potential for local recurrence and distant metastasis.
