Prominent ears, also known as protruding ears, is a condition where the ears noticeably stick out from the side of the head more than usual. This can be due to the shape, size, or angle of the ear cartilage. Prominent ears are usually a congenital condition and can be corrected through a surgical procedure called otoplasty.
