Posterior tibial tendinitis is a condition characterized by inflammation, irritation, or degeneration of the posterior tibial tendon, which runs along the inside of the ankle and foot. It is often caused by overuse, injury, or underlying foot deformities and can lead to pain, swelling, and difficulty walking or performing daily activities.
