Ocular Migraines

Definition

Ocular migraines, also known as retinal migraines or ophthalmic migraines, are a type of migraine characterized by temporary visual disturbances in one eye. These disturbances may include blind spots, flashing lights, or shimmering zigzag lines and typically last for several minutes to an hour. Ocular migraines may be accompanied by headache, but in some cases, the visual symptoms occur without any pain.
