Definition

Multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes (MEN) are a group of rare, inherited disorders characterized by the development of tumors in multiple endocrine glands, such as the pituitary, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. These tumors can be benign or malignant and can lead to overproduction of hormones, causing various symptoms and complications.
