Labial Adhesions

Definition

Labial adhesions, also known as labial fusion or labial agglutination, is a condition where the labia minora (inner lips of the vulva) become partially or completely fused together. This can cause discomfort, urinary problems, or other complications. It is most commonly seen in prepubescent girls and postmenopausal women due to hormonal changes and reduced estrogen levels.
