Jaw Tumor

Definition

A jaw tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within or around the jawbone, which can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). These tumors can originate from the jawbone itself, the surrounding soft tissues, or metastasize from other parts of the body. Jaw tumors may cause pain, swelling, and difficulty in chewing or speaking.
