Hypoparathyroidism

Definition

Hypoparathyroidism is a rare medical condition characterized by insufficient production of parathyroid hormone (PTH) by the parathyroid glands, leading to low levels of calcium in the blood and increased levels of blood phosphorus. This can result in various symptoms, including muscle cramps, spasms, and tingling sensations in the hands and feet.
