Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism is a medical condition characterized by insufficient production of sex hormones due to a deficiency in the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus or inadequate secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland.
