Hypnagogic hallucinations, also known as sleep hallucinations, are vivid sensory experiences that occur during the transition from wakefulness to sleep. These hallucinations can involve any of the senses and may include visual, auditory, or tactile sensations. They are typically brief and can be either pleasant or disturbing.
