A hydatidiform mole, also known as a molar pregnancy, is an abnormal growth of placental tissue in the uterus that occurs when a fertilized egg fails to develop properly. This condition can result in the formation of fluid-filled sacs (cysts) and may cause vaginal bleeding, an enlarged uterus, and other complications.
