Goldenhar Syndrome

Definition

Goldenhar syndrome, also known as oculo-auriculo-vertebral (OAV) spectrum, is a rare congenital disorder characterized by the abnormal development of the face, head, and spine. It typically affects one side of the body and may involve incomplete development of the ear, nose, soft palate, lip, and jaw. Additionally, it can cause problems with the eye, vertebrae, and internal organs.
