Endometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) is a rare malignant tumor that arises from the endometrial stroma, the connective tissue supporting the endometrium. It is a type of uterine sarcoma and accounts for a small percentage of uterine cancers. ESS can present with various symptoms, and its treatment often involves surgery, radiation therapy, and/or chemotherapy.
