Elbow Bone Spur

Definition

An elbow bone spur, also known as osteophyte, is a bony growth that forms on the edge of a bone, specifically in the elbow joint. It occurs due to the wear and tear of joint cartilage, often because of aging or repetitive stress on the joint. Bone spurs can cause pain, inflammation, and limited range of motion in the affected elbow.
