Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET) is a rare, benign brain tumor that arises from the abnormal development of neural tissue. It typically occurs in children and young adults and is often associated with epilepsy or seizures. DNETs are generally slow-growing and have a favorable prognosis after surgical removal.
