Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS 2) Type 2, Causalgia
Definition
Complex regional pain syndrome type 2 (CRPS 2), also known as causalgia, is a chronic pain condition characterized by severe, continuous pain in a specific region of the body, usually following nerve injury. The pain is often disproportionate to the initial injury and may be accompanied by swelling, changes in skin color and temperature, and abnormal sensitivity to touch.
