Colonic pseudopolyps are non-neoplastic, inflammatory projections of the colonic mucosa that can occur in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), particularly ulcerative colitis. They are characterized by their irregular shape and size, and are often found in areas of inflamed or previously inflamed colonic tissue.
