Chondromyxoid Fibroma

Definition

Chondromyxoid fibroma is a rare, benign bone tumor characterized by the presence of cartilage-like tissue and myxoid stroma. It typically occurs in the long bones of the extremities and can cause pain, swelling, and limited range of motion. Although benign, it may be locally aggressive and has a potential for recurrence after surgical removal.
