Cholesterolosis of the Gallbladder

Definition

Cholesterolosis of the gallbladder is a condition characterized by the accumulation of cholesterol deposits within the lining of the gallbladder. This can lead to the formation of cholesterol polyps, which are small, noncancerous growths on the gallbladder wall. Cholesterolosis is often asymptomatic but may cause symptoms in some cases.
