Bladder Rupture

Definition

Bladder rupture is a medical condition where the bladder, a hollow organ that stores urine, experiences a tear or break in its wall. This can result in the leakage of urine into the surrounding tissues or abdominal cavity. Bladder ruptures can be caused by blunt force trauma, such as a car accident, or may occur spontaneously due to an underlying medical condition.
