Becker's Nevus

Definition

Becker's nevus is a benign skin condition characterized by the presence of a large, irregularly shaped, pigmented patch of skin with hypertrichosis (excessive hair growth). It typically appears during adolescence and is more common in males. The exact cause of Becker's nevus is unknown, but it is thought to be related to hormonal factors and genetic predisposition.
