Aquatic Therapy

Definition

Aquatic therapy, also known as hydrotherapy or pool therapy, is a form of physical therapy that involves performing exercises and movements in water, typically in a pool. The buoyancy, resistance, and warmth of the water can help reduce pain, improve circulation, increase flexibility, and enhance muscle strength and endurance. Aquatic therapy is often used to treat various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
