Anisometropia
Definition
Anisometropia is a condition in which the refractive power of the two eyes is significantly different, leading to unequal focusing and potentially causing visual disturbances. This discrepancy can result in blurred vision, eyestrain, headaches, and difficulty with depth perception. Anisometropia can be caused by differences in the shape or size of the eyes, or by variations in the curvature of the cornea or lens.
