Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) is a rare and aggressive type of cancer that affects the immune system's T-cells. It is caused by the human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1) and is characterized by the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal T-cells, leading to weakened immunity and various complications.
